01Routine care
Reset the folds and remove surface dust.
Open and close the treatment gently, then arrange the folds by hand. Use a clean upholstery brush or a vacuum on its lowest setting.
- Support the fabric while brushing.
- Work from top to bottom.
- Clean hardware with a dry microfiber cloth.
Avoid suction marksPlace a clean mesh screen between the fabric and vacuum attachment when working with delicate sheers or open weaves.
02Creases
Let gravity work before adding heat.
Freshly unpacked panels often relax naturally after hanging. Give the fabric time before treating remaining creases.
- Check the supplied care instructions.
- Steam from the reverse side only when permitted.
- Use the lowest safe setting and keep moving.

03Spills
Blot quickly. Never scrub the weave.
Lift excess moisture with a clean, white, absorbent cloth. Work from the outside of the mark inward without saturating the lining.

- Stop if color transfers or the texture changes.

04Deep cleaning
Treat the panel and lining as one construction.
Made-to-measure drapery may combine face fabric, lining, interlining, heading tape, and hardware. Professional cleaning is the safest option when the label calls for it.

Do not assume washableEven a washable face fabric can behave differently once lined and constructed. Always follow the finished treatment’s care instructions.

Can I machine-wash my curtains?
Only when the care label for the completed treatment explicitly says machine washing is permitted. Face fabric, lining, heading, and shrinkage behavior must all be considered together.
Is steaming safe for every fabric?
No. Check the care instructions first. When steaming is allowed, use the lowest safe setting, work from the reverse side, and keep the steamer moving without touching the fabric.
How can I reduce sun-related fading?
Use an appropriate lining, rotate movable furnishings where practical, and close or adjust treatments during periods of intense direct sun. Some color change over time is natural.
How should I clean rods, tracks, and motors?
Dust with a dry microfiber cloth and follow the hardware manufacturer’s instructions. Keep moisture and cleaning sprays away from motors, charging points, and electrical connections.
