These Terms of Service and Terms of Sale ("Terms") govern your use of the Velofold website and your purchase of products or services from Velofold.
Throughout these Terms, "Velofold," "we," "us," and "our" refer to [FULL LEGAL BUSINESS NAME], doing business as Velofold.
By accessing our website, submitting an order, or purchasing a product or service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Shipping, Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy.
1. About Velofold
Velofold offers window treatments and related products, including made-to-measure and custom-manufactured products.
Because many Velofold products are manufactured according to customer-selected specifications, additional terms concerning measurements, cancellations, returns, and manufacturing tolerances apply to custom orders.
2. Eligibility
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract in your jurisdiction to place an order with Velofold.
By placing an order, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method submitted.
3. Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to present our products accurately.
However, photographs, renderings, room scenes, digital previews, and screen displays are illustrative. Color appearance can vary depending on lighting, device settings, display technology, surrounding finishes, and material production batches.
Where color, fabric texture, opacity, or finish is important, we recommend reviewing a physical sample where available before ordering.
Product specifications may be updated from time to time.
4. Custom and Made-to-Measure Products
A substantial portion of Velofold's products are custom-made.
A custom product may be manufactured according to information including:
- dimensions;
- fabric or material;
- color;
- lining;
- mount type;
- control type;
- opening direction;
- hardware;
- configuration; and
- other customer-selected options.
The specifications contained in the final order confirmation form the basis on which we manufacture your product.
You are responsible for reviewing the order confirmation and notifying Velofold promptly if anything is incorrect.
5. Measurements
Unless Velofold has expressly agreed to provide a professional measurement service for your order, you are responsible for providing accurate measurements.
Measurements should be taken in accordance with the Velofold measurement instructions applicable to the product.
Velofold is not responsible for fit problems resulting from incorrect measurements supplied or approved by the customer.
We may contact you if a submitted measurement appears unusual or requires clarification, but doing so does not transfer responsibility for customer-provided measurements to Velofold.
6. Manufacturing Tolerances
Custom-manufactured products may have small dimensional or material variations resulting from normal manufacturing processes.
Products will be evaluated against the manufacturing tolerances applicable to the particular product.
7. Orders
An order is an offer to purchase products from Velofold.
We may refuse or cancel an order before fulfillment where reasonably necessary, including because of:
- suspected fraud or unauthorized payment;
- an obvious pricing or technical error;
- inability to manufacture the requested configuration;
- legal or shipping restrictions;
- payment failure; or
- circumstances making fulfillment commercially or legally impossible.
If Velofold cancels an order after receiving payment and no substitute arrangement is agreed, we will refund the applicable amount.
8. Pricing and Currency
Unless otherwise expressly stated, prices on the U.S. Velofold website are displayed and charged in U.S. dollars (USD).
Applicable taxes will be calculated and displayed where required.
Standard delivery to eligible U.S. addresses is included in the product price unless otherwise stated.
Optional services, expedited delivery, special handling, installation, or other additional services may carry separate charges that will be disclosed before payment.
We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing or typographical errors before fulfillment.
9. Promotions and Discount Codes
Promotions may be subject to separate terms, including:
- eligibility requirements;
- minimum purchase requirements;
- excluded products;
- expiration dates;
- limitations on combining promotions; and
- maximum discount amounts.
Terms applicable to a promotion will be presented with the promotion or made available through a clearly identified link.
Unless stated otherwise, promotional discounts have no cash value.
10. Payment
Payment is due as shown during checkout or on an approved Velofold quotation or invoice.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment service providers.
Velofold may use fraud-prevention procedures and may request additional information when reasonably necessary to verify a transaction.
Your payment method may appear on your financial statement under Velofold's designated statement descriptor.
11. Order Changes
Requests to change an order must be made as soon as possible.
Because custom orders can enter production quickly, we cannot guarantee that a change can be made after an order has been submitted.
Changes requested after production begins may require additional payment or a new order.
12. Cancellation
Custom orders may generally be cancelled within 24 hours after purchase provided production has not already begun.
After that period, or once customization or production has begun, custom products generally cannot be cancelled except as required by applicable law.

13. Shipping and Delivery
Production time and carrier transit time are separate.
Estimated production or shipment timing applicable to your order will be displayed or communicated before or after purchase, as applicable.

If Velofold cannot ship an order within a promised shipment period, we will provide the notices and cancellation/refund options required by applicable law.
14. Returns and Refunds
Because made-to-measure products are manufactured specifically for an individual order, custom products generally cannot be returned because of preference, change of mind, or customer measurement or ordering error.
This does not apply to valid claims involving products that are damaged, defective, incorrectly manufactured, or materially inconsistent with the accepted order specifications, or where applicable law requires another remedy.

15. Installation
Installation requirements vary depending on the product and mounting surface.
Customers must use appropriate installation hardware and follow applicable Velofold installation instructions.
If installation is performed by an independent third-party installer selected by the customer, that installer is not Velofold's agent unless Velofold expressly states otherwise in writing.
Separate terms may apply when installation services are purchased directly from Velofold.
16. Product Safety
Certain window coverings, cords, chains, motors, batteries, hardware, and related components may require specific installation, operation, maintenance, or child-safety precautions.
Customers must follow all safety instructions and warnings supplied with the product.
Products should not be modified in a manner inconsistent with their intended use or safety instructions.
17. Intellectual Property
The Velofold website and its contents—including text, graphics, product names, photographs, videos, illustrations, logos, designs, guides, software, and other materials—are owned by Velofold or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may use the website for personal, non-commercial shopping purposes.
You may not reproduce, republish, sell, distribute, scrape, exploit, or create derivative works from protected Velofold content without our prior written permission except where permitted by law.
18. Reviews, Photographs, and Other Submitted Content
If you voluntarily submit a product review, photograph, testimonial, or other content to Velofold for publication, you represent that you have the right to submit it.
Where you expressly authorize us to use submitted content for marketing or publication, you grant Velofold the rights described in that authorization.
We will not knowingly attribute a false testimonial or materially alter the meaning of a customer review.
19. Third-Party Services and Links
Our website may contain integrations or links involving third parties such as payment providers, analytics providers, social networks, carriers, or other service providers.
Third-party services are subject to their own terms and privacy practices.
Velofold is not responsible for an independent third party's website or service merely because we provide a link to it.
20. Disclaimer of Warranties
Except for express written warranties provided with a product and warranties that cannot legally be excluded, products and website services are provided on the terms stated at the time of sale.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty, guarantee, remedy, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
21. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Velofold will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising from use of the website or a product where such damages were not reasonably foreseeable or where liability may legally be limited.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Velofold's aggregate liability arising from a particular product order will not exceed the amount paid to Velofold for the product or service giving rise to the claim.
These limitations do not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
22. Fraudulent or Abusive Activity
You may not use the Velofold website for fraudulent, unlawful, abusive, or unauthorized activity.
We may take reasonable steps to prevent fraud, protect customers, protect payment systems, and comply with legal obligations.
23. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Velofold Privacy Policy.
24. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
The Terms applicable to a purchase are generally those presented or made available to you when your order is placed, except where a change is required by law or mutually agreed.

25. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong Island, HONG KONG SAR, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
Any court proceeding arising from these Terms will be brought in a court having lawful jurisdiction in HONG KONG SAR, except where applicable law gives the customer the right to bring a proceeding elsewhere.
26. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.
27. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the applicable order confirmation, Privacy Policy, Shipping, Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy, and any expressly incorporated product-specific terms, form the agreement between you and Velofold concerning the applicable purchase.
